Cancer Scars

I was fortunate my scars are barely visible unless I point them out to you. I have a faint scar going from my ear down the side of my neck. My surgeon did a great job. I was expecting worse. I also have a slight indentation from where the tumor and soft tissue was removed. Again I was one if the fortunate ones. I have seen people who had the same thing and 1/2 their neck looks like it’s gone. Hence early detection. I have multiple other scars in the abdomen area that I wasn’t so lucky on thanks to cancer treatment but I’m alive and that’s all that matters. I since have had my other parotid gland removed just one year ago due to ongoing infections since 2015. The scar looks the same. No cancer was found.
